BHUBANESWAR: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a mammoth rally in Cuttack on Monday said Odisha is blessed with rich culture and is the land of several greats. ‘But the BJD is disrespecting the Odia culture time and again. ‘These elections will punish the BJD for its misdeeds, PM Modi said.
‘The way the BJD government misrules and loots the people of Odisha has been completely exposed,” PM Modi said. ‘The deteriorating conditions of an otherwise capable state like Odisha is something very much unfortunate.BJD has pushed Odisha into a very saddening situation,” PM said.
‘The people of Odisha have got tired of the corruption racket of the BJD.BJD is cheating the poor with scams like chit-funds. We all know that BJD has given to the people nothing but land mafias, sand mafias, coal mafias, and mining mafias,’ PM blasted on Naveen Patnaik and his close aid VK Pandian, who shares very close bonding with several mines companies working in Odisha.
BJP will get full majority and form government in Odisha, and take the state to new heights in the next 25 years, says the Prime Minister citing a section of media reports that claim a possible hung Assembly in Odisha. New Government will take oath in Odisha on June 10, Modi reiterated adding third term for his Government in New Delhi. ‘Your enthusiasm is telling that Odisha is going to create a new history after 25 years!On June 10, it’s certain that the first Chief Minister of the BJP will take oath in Odisha, he said.
‘I assure you, once the BJP comes to power in Odisha, the mystery of ‘keys’ will unfold! The associated investigation report will be published. Those involved in cheating and fraud will not be spared, and this is Modi’s promise,” PM Modi said.
‘The schemes like PM Surya Ghar Yojana will immensely benefit the people of Odisha. Ensure forming the ‘Double-engine government’, and you will see an unprecedented pace of development in Odisha. Subhadra Yojana will empower the women of Odisha like never before, PM said. Also, Modi has resolved to make 3 crore Lakhpati Didis in the country.
“Can a person, who does not know the culture and tradition of Odisha, run the state? You gave 25 years to BJD and the results you all know. The next 25 years are important for Odisha in terms of development,” said PM Modi in Cuttack
PM Modi said, Central funds are being misutilised by the BJD government in Odisha. From education to drinking water, people of Odisha are suffering from several issues. Without getting their cut/commission, the BJD leaders don’t approve any project. Also, BJD leaders are looting people by allocating work contracts to their relatives. This loot needs to be stopped and your vote can change the future of Odisha, he said.
‘Development and legacy are the agenda of the BJP. Big leaders from all over the world attended the G20 summit held in Delhi.All the great leaders of the world were made to stand in front of the Konark Chakra and were photographed. Today, the Konark Surya Chakra has reached their homes, which has increased the pride of Odisha, PM said.
‘Modi makes relentless efforts to serve you, but the BJD puts hindrances to those.I want to ensure ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’, but BJD doesn’t allow you to avail the benefits…Around 30 lakh new houses have been established for the poor in Odisha. But the BJD posed difficulties even in this endeavour of ours.Notably, Modi has further guaranteed to build 3 crore new houses in the country for the poor,’ PM argued.
