BJD announces candidates for 9 more Assembly seats, Chosen Lekhasree Samantsinghar as its Lok Sabha Candidate for Balasore

BHUBANESWAR:  The Naveen Patnaik led BJD on Thursday announced its 4th list of candidates, in which, the Party chosen 9 candidates for Assembly seats and repose faith on Lekhasree Samantsinghar, which switched from BJP to BJD , days back,  for Balasore Lok Sabha seat. With announcement for Balasore seat, BJD has announced all its 21 Candidates for Lok Sabha which included 7 women candidates.

BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced the candidate list. As per the announcement, senior leader Prasanna Acharya to fight for Sambalpur Assembly seat while Rohit Pujari will try his luck from Rairakhol seat.

Anant Narayan Jena from Bhubaneswar Central , Braja Pradhan from Talcher, Laxmipur goes to Prabhu Jani, Telkoi goes to Madhab Sardar, Paradip goes to Gitanjali Routray, Manorama Mohanty for Nurla, Baliguda goes to Chakramani Kuanr.

With 9 more, BJD’s candidate tally reached at 117 of the total 147 seats in Odisha Assembly, which will goes for polls in 4 phases from May 13, May 20, May 25, June 1. Counting will be on June 4.
