BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, Bipin Kumar Dehuri, OIS-I, General Manager (GM), District Industries Center(DIC), Subarnapur has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and taking bribe of Rs.5000/- from a Complainant to process and approve loan application of complt for sanction of a loan under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) in his favour.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from possession of accused Sri Dehury and seized .Following the successful trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Sri Dehury, GM, DIC, Subarnapur from DA angle.
In this connection,Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No. 32 dt.20.12.2024 U/s 7 P.C(Amendment)Act, 2018 has been registered.Investigation is in progress against accused Sri Dehury.Detailed report follows.
