BIPF observes International Women’s Day celebration in Jajpur

KALIAPANI/SUKINDA: Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) the social development arm of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA), observed international women’s day on  March 8 at Gopabandhu club kaliapani village in which 110 women participated from periphery villages in presence of Sangeeta Pradhan, samiti sabhya- Kaliapani Panchayat, village leaders, ward member, Community resource person from Odisha Livelihood Mission of the area etc.

The program conveyed message on women’s right & equality. The best practices of farm and non farm based livelihood activities were explained by successful women Self helf group members. Also health specific current outbreak of coronavirus, hand washing practices were demonstrated in which symptoms & precautions were discussed among women members.

The program was carried out by BIPF program officer Deepak Mohanty and mobilisers Purna Mohanta, Sambhunath Nayak & Hemlata Mohanta. The message was well taken by the target audience.
