DHENKANAL/BHUBANESWAR: Jharkhand’s Chaibasa headquarters Rungta Mines Ltd’s Dhenkanal Steel Plant in Odisha on Thursday witnessed a Day -Long Knowledge Sharing Workshop hosted by Ministry of Steel’s Autonomous Body, Biju Patnaik National Steel Institute .
The Knowledge Sharing Workshop concluded successfully following extensive interactive sessions with enthusiastic working professionals from various departments of Rungta Mines Limited Dhenkanal plant in Odisha.
The workshop was formally inaugurated by RML officials, including Shri P. K. Chaturbadi Joint President cum Plant Head, Shri Debadatta Mishra Vice President, and Shri Kumar Pushpesh Ranjan GM – HR & Administration. Prof. Satyapriya Satapathy delivered the inaugural address and presented the program schedule on behalf of BPNSI.
The technical sessions featured presentations by industry veterans: Shri Dhiren Kumar Nath former GM and Head, IMFA conducted a lecture on “Energy and Mass balance for cost optimisation & Sustainable Business through operational excellence in DRI plants.”
In the afternoon session, Shri Prakash Chandra Das ,Former GM, Bokaro Steel Plant, SAIL, led an extensive interactive session focused on “Behavioral Safety management – An important tool to prevent industrial accidents and Elevating Safety through horizontal Inspections.”
