BHUBANESWAR: “ବରଗଡ଼, ନୂଆପଡ଼ା ଓ କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗସ୍ତ ଅବସରରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ମୁଁ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ₹୩,୦୮୧ କୋଟିର ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ ସହ ବିଜୁ ଏକ୍ସପ୍ରେସ ୱେ ଏବଂ ବିଜୁ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ କରିଡର ଲୋକାର୍ପଣ, ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ୧୦ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବାସିନ୍ଦାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରେ ବିରାଟ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଆଣିବ।, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said in a tweet.
“ଏହାର ଦୁଇ ପାର୍ଶ୍ଵରେ ଗଢିଉଠିଥିବା ‘ବିଜୁ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ କରିଡର’ରେ ଶିଳ୍ପର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟାପକ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହନ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି। ଏହାଦ୍ଵାରା ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ। ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନର ମଧ୍ୟ ବିକାଶ ଘଟିବ।ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ବିଜୁ ବାବୁ ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ଭୁମିକା ନେଇଥିଲେ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ମାଟି ଓ ଏ ମାଟିର ମଣିଷର ସ୍ଵପ୍ନ ସହ ବିଜୁବାବୁ ସବୁବେଳେ ଯୋଡି ହୋଇ ରହିଥିଲେ। ସମ୍ବଲପୁର-ରାଉଲକେଲା ରାସ୍ତା ବିଜୁବାବୁଙ୍କ ପରିକଳ୍ପନା ଥିଲା। ତାଙ୍କରି ଆଦର୍ଶରେ ଏକ ସଶକ୍ତ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଗଠନ ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଆଗକୁ ବଢୁଛୁ।,’ CM Patnaik added.
The residents of Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri will be especially benefited by the Biju Economic Corridor.
CM Naveen Patnaik on Sunday inaugurated the much awaited Biju Expressway at Amapani and the Biju Economic Corridor from Sohela in Bargarh to Amapani in Kalahandi on the occasion of the birth anniversary of legendary Biju Patnaik.
During his one-day visit to Kalahandi, Nuapada and Bargarh, Patnaik also launched various projects worth Rs 3,081 crore in three districts.
The CM also provided Rs 42 crore loan assistance with reduced interest to the members of Mission Shakkti groups in Bargarh, Nuapada and Kalahandi district.
Patnaik announced an additional 30 percent discount will be given to investors as an incentive to attract investors to the Biju Economic Corridor. Advance land acquisition has also been initiated to facilitate industrial development, he added.
