BHUBANESWAR:Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who arrived in Odisha today after the historic victory of the NDA in the Bihar Assembly elections, was accorded a grand welcome at the Bhubaneswar airport. Thousands of people, party workers and supporters from different parts of Odisha welcomed Shri Pradhan.

Shri Pradhan, responding to the media, thanked the people of Bihar for the unprecedented victory of the NDA in Bihar. He said that the people have once again blessed him for the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the organizational skills of BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and the leadership of the popular Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. Prime Minister Modi has envisioned a dawn for the development of Eastern India.

Because, without the development of Eastern India, there will be no development of India. Getting the opportunity to serve the NDA party in Bihar once again is a great recognition of the Prime Minister’s leadership. Today, the Prime Minister has become the trust of the people for running a welfare system in the country.

The people have rejected the negative politics of dividing the country by the Congress. On the other hand, Shri Pradhan congratulated Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and State BJP President Manmohan Samal for the victory of BJP candidate Jai Dholakia by a huge margin in the Nuapada by-election.

The welcome ceremony was a colourful one with traditional Odisha dance and music. The artists, dressed in traditional attire, welcomed the Union Minister by performing dances to the tune of bells, conch shells and mridangam. The airport area was decorated with garlands, joyful chants and pattuars. Apart from this, Shri Pradhan went directly from the airport to Puri Shrimandir to have darshan of Mahaprabhu and take blessings.
