BHUBANESWAR: Based on reliable inputs that Sri Bichitrananda Nayak, Tahsildar Chandrapur, in Rayagada had collected huge bribe amount, a team of Odisha Vigilance intercepted him while on way from Chnadrapur to Rayagada and recovered Rs.1.15 Lakh suspected illgotten cash from his possession.
As he failed to satisfactorily account for the possession of such huge cash, he has been detained and is being interrogated to ascertain the source of the recovered cash. Further report follows.
