BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday afternoon, Bibhas Mazumdar, Food Safety Officer, O/o CDMO in Kendrapara, has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 5,000/- from a Proprietor of a Shop to issue License in his favour to run his business.
Sri Mazumdar had conducted surprise raid at the complt’s shop & asked him to apply for a license, & demanded bribe Rs.5,000/- to issue the same. The Complaint., contacted Vigilance authorities, following which he was nabbed today. In this, CTC Vigilance PS Case U/s 7 PC (Amd) Act, 2018 registered.
