BHUBANESWAR: Wait is over, Asit Tripathy re-elected as the President of Bhubaneswar Club Dilip while Routrai elected as the Secretary. SP Nanda who was fighting against Tripathy for President Post, lost the battle.
Tripathy got 858 votes out of 1054 votes polled while Dilip Routrai has got 723 votes. Polling was held on Saturday.
Tripathy is now the Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council.He is also the President of the Bhubaneswar Golf Club.
In 2021, Asit Tripathy was elected as president of Bhubaneswar Club while defeating BK Patnaik by a margin of 278 votes.
