Bharatpur PS Case No-719-Two accused arrested

BHUBANESWAR: Bharatpur PS Case No-719, Dt.30.10.2024, U/s-310(4)(5)/111 BNS/25/27 Arms Act/3/4 E.S Act. PO: Self drive car office of Tani @ Srikanta Sahoo, near village Nuagaon, Bharatpur P.S, BBSR UPD.

Gist of the fact:

Commissionerate police BBSR-CTC always striving hard to protect the life and property so also interest of its citizens in adverse situation. If caring law abiders is our priority equally daring to stand firm against criminals is our reality. On tip of a reliable information IIC Bharatpur Police Station and officers conducted raid in the dead hour of the night at self drive car office of Tani @ Srikanta Sahoo near village Nuagaon under Bharatpur P.S and apprehended two professional criminals with incriminating articles and averted a well planned organized crime likely to be committed in the intervening night of 29/30.10.2024. Timely and swift action of Commissionerate Police prevented the crime and saved the property and life targeted by criminals.

This gang is a well organized gang of highly professional criminals who resorted to extortion, robbery and land possession cases. They are active in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Khurda and Jagatsinghpur Districts. They were sitting inside a car armed with weapons.

1. Bubu @ Surya Bahadur (25), S/o- Late Indra Bahadur, At-Dinipolhari, Kathamandu, Nepal, A/P- Inside Horticulture office, Nayapali, Bhubanewar.
2. Dadhi @ Dadhibaman Jena (20), S/o- Sanjaya Kumar Jena, At/PS-Tigiria, Athagarh, Dist- Cuttack, A/p-Badheibanka Chhak, Old Town, PS- Lingaraj, Bhubaneswar.

Article Seized:

1. One 7.65 mm country made pistol with 02 rounds of live ammunitions.
2. 04 number of live Bombs.
3. One big size sword.
4. One Telenga katuri.
5. One Hyundai i20Car.
6. Two numbers of mobile phones.
