CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Blood is essential for helping people of all ages who suffer from diseases, disasters, and accidents. Blood donation saves lives and makes our community safe.
Today, BBSR-Cuttack Police Commussionerate Organsised a Mega Blood Donation camp in Cuttack Urban Police District under Sadar P.S Cuttack.
Sir Debadutta Kar, ADCP, Sri Manas Garnaik, ADCP, Sri Amitabh Mohapatra ACP Zone IV, Omm Prakash Pattanaik IIC Sadar PS, Debendra Biswal IIC Baranga PS and Girish Moharana IIC Bayalish Mouza motivated the doners & coordinated for making this mega camp possible.
Due to the unprecedented response from the doners belonging to various social organisations, Educational Institutions, local gentries & leading persons of Sadar P.S, Bayalish Mouza P.S & Baranga P.S area 420 units of blood has been collected.
Doctors and supporting staff of Red Cross and SCB MC & H, Cuttack were present at the blood donation camp & cooperated in making this possible.
Total 420 units of blood have been collected in this mega camp- each doner saving a prospective life.
