BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday spoken to Odisha Congress Legislature Party Leader Narasingh Mishra seeking support for Droupadi Murmu. “It is matter of great pride for Odisha. Appealed him to ensure win of the daughter of Odisha to the highest office of the country,” Chief Minister Patnaik said.
Independent MLA Makaranda Muduli met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while the later requested the former for his support for the daughter of Odisha, MLA Muduli agreed and convey his consent to CM Patnaik.
“She is pride of Odisha. Reiterate my appeal to all members to ensure every vote in her favour,’ Patnaik added.
Murmu is scheduled to visit the State on July 8. She is likely to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik seeking support of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for their candidature in the upcoming Presidential Election 2022.
