The meeting has sent a shockwave among supporters and spin-doctors of sitting BJD MLA Anata Narayan Jena aka Bunu, who aims for a third term in Odisha Assembly.

BHUBANESWAR:   Call it Baian Vs Bunu in Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat. BMC Works Committee Chairman, BJD State Secretary and Observer Amaresh Jena , popularly known as Baian , is all set to venture into State Assembly polls slated in Odisha this year .

Firebrand BJD leader Amaresh Jena hosted a ‘get together meeting’ at Kalpana Square area of Capital city on Sunday and urged people to stand behind him to fight in Assembly polls from Bhubaneswar Central seat. The meeting has sent a shockwave among supporters and spin-doctors of sitting BJD MLA Anata Narayan Jena aka Bunu, who aims for third term in Odisha Assembly.

People from 29 Wards attended the function, where they vowed to vote for Jena. People from Jharpada, Laxmi Sagar, Budheswari Colony, Old Station Bazar, Chintamaniswar area, Mochi Sahi, Big Bazar, Ashok Nagar, Satya Nagar and other areas joined the function.

BJD Corporator Biranchi Narayan Mahasupakar, former BMC Mayor Mihir Mohanty, women wing leader Sanjkuta Mohanty and several other leaders also attended the function.

Urging people to stand with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Jena appealed voters of Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat to give a chance to him to serve them.

Jena highlighted about his 30 years long career from students politics to BMC and to BJD’s Organisation. Jena claimed that he has support of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T-Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian, BJD Organisational general secretary Pranab Prakash Das and he will continue to serve people of Bhubaneswar Central Assembly seat.
