BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Call it master poll strategy and well coordination with party workers by BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda, continued to fetch dividends for the Saffron Party in Assam, where few months after the landslide victory in Assembly polls, the Party swept the Civic polls giving a jolt to Congress.
Of the 80 Municipalities, BJP is all set to win 77. Baijayant Jay Panda, also a former 4th MP from Odisha, has thanked people of this north eastern State for a massive victory for BJP in civic polls. BJP is leading in 77 Municipalities of the 80.
The BJP National VP Jay Panda said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and commitment for north east fetching dividends for BJP. The BJP National VP Panda also congratulated Assam Chief Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma and Assam BJP chief Bhabesh Kalita for the landslide victory in civic polls.

It may be noted here that, due to Jay Panda’s pro-active role and well thought out polls strategies had helped BJP to bounce back to Power and became 1st non –Congress Government that retained power for second consecutive term.The poll results has heightened Jay Panda’s entry into Rajya Sabha from this north eastern States.
