NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National VP in charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant Jay Panda has written to Indian Ambassador in Dubai seeking his intervention for safe return of Odia youth Dhurba Charan Martha of State’s Nayagarh district.
Sources said, Martha hailing from Narasinghpur village under Rajranpur Police limits of Nayagarh, has been working in Dubai since January 2013 in a company and resigned from his job in November 2021. But his employer company has not released his pending salary and take away his passport, sources added.
Finding no way out, Martha’s family members through BJP leader from Nayagarh, Surama Padhi, had approached Party’s National VP Jay Panda for help.
Soon after receiving the request letter, the senior BJP leader Panda has written to Indian Ambassador in Dubai for safe return of Martha to his home State of Odisha.
