BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of 2024 general elections, BJP in Odisha, seems, geared up for the battle, with the Saffron Party held its State Executive meeting here at Hotel Padmaja Premium, where Party’s general secretary State in-charge Sunil Bansal, D Purandeswari along with National VP in charge of Assam and Delhi, former MP, Baijayant Jay Panda imparting tips to party workers and leaders for framing poll strategy to counter Naveen Patnaik led Government here.
The meeting began under the chairmanship of State President Samir Mohanty, attended by also Saha Pravari Vijay Pal, Party chief whip in Odisha Assembly, Mohan Majhi,
Later BJP Chief whip Mohan Majhi while addressing a press meet, raised law and order issues, PM Awas Yojana, unemployment, criminalisation of politics and several others, and targeted the Government.
Majhi said, State executive strongly condemned the worsening law and order situation in the State. Ministers and MLAs are involved in criminal activities in Odisha, Majhi said referring to teach Mamita Meher and ZP Member Dharmendra Sahoo death case.They are now using hockey world cup and Dakota aircraft to cover up their misdeeds, he said.
