NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National Vice-President in charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant Jay Panda has sought help of Ministry of External Affairs for safe return of dead of an Odia worker, Sadashiv Das of Odisha’s Kendrapara, from Qutar.
Sources said, the deceased Das , son of Sarbeswar Das of village Khadala under Pattamundai Police limits of Kendrapara was working in Qatar for last 9 months while he died on December 25.
The family members of the deceased were informed on December 26 through one of his friend Dilip Ghadai. Facing hardship in bring back the dead body to native place, the family had approached BJP National VP Panda for help.
Immediately acting on the request letter, Panda has written to Indian Ambassador in Qatar for return of dead body to Odisha.
