NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Jay Panda was on Monday paid rich tribute to legendary leader Biju Patnaik on his Punyatithi.
‘ମହାନ୍ ଜନନାୟକ, ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ, ଦୁଃସାହସୀ ପାଇଲଟ୍, ସୁପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଶିଳ୍ପପତି ତଥା ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ପ୍ରବାଦ ପୁରୁଷ ସ୍ବର୍ଗତ ବିଜୁ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧବାର୍ଷିକୀରେ ଭକ୍ତିପୂତ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି । ବିଜୁ ଅଙ୍କଲ୍ ଙ୍କ ସହ ଆମର ପାରିବାରିକ ଘନିଷ୍ଠତା ଯୋଗୁ ମତେ ତାଙ୍କ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନରେ ଅତି ନିକଟରୁ ଅନେକ କିଛି ଶିଖିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ମିଳିଥିଲା,” the senior BJP leader Jay Panda said in a tweet.
Biju Patnaik (5 March 1916 – 17 April 1997) was an Indian politician, aviator and businessman. As politician, he served twice as the Chief Minister of the State of Odisha. Biju Patnaik’s younger son, Naveen Patnaik, is the current Chief Minister of Odisha. His daughter, Gita Mehta, is an English writer. His elder son Prem Patnaik is a Delhi-based industrialist.
