NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: With a heavy heart, BJP National VP and NCC’s High Level Expert Committee, Chairman, Baijayant Jay Panda on Friday paid his last respect to CDS Genereal Bipin Rawat and Mrs Madhulika Rawat in New Delhi .
Panda, who recently met General Rawat, said it was very unfortunate to lose him so early.“Paid my last respects to Gen Bipin Rawat & Mrs Madhulika Rawat. A huge loss to the nation, he had dramatically improved India’s security paradigm.I had the privilege of meeting him recently for NCC revamp work. He was down to earth, practical, & gave many actionable suggestions,” BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay.
General Bipin Rawat, Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Yudh Seva Medal, Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, ADC, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), his wife Smt Madhulika Rawat and 12 other officers & personnel lost their lives in the helicopter accident in Tamil Nadu.
