RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA: BJP National Vice President and former MP, Baijayant Jay Panda on Saturday took part at ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh Abhiyan at Rajkanika in Kendrapara and offered tributes at the Statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Saheed Kishore Rout in Deulatara and Saheed Sachidananda Malik in Kandia.
Panda along with hundreds of party workers went to Deualatara village, the birthplace of martyr Kishore Chandra Rout. Panda offered his tribute to the martyr and garlanded his statue installed in the village. Later, he visited the martyr’s house and collected soil. He also garlanded the memorial pillar of martyr Sachidananda Mallick near Kandia.
Later, he visited several villages of Deulatara, Namatara, Charapada, and Panasaganda panchayats and collected soil.
Kendrapara BJP President Kishore Panda, Vice President Krushna Chandra Panda, senior leader Bhaktabandhu Mishra and others were among those present. A large number of people joined BJP at a function held at Panasaganda GP of Rajkanika , where the Party’s National VP and others graced.
