Baijayant Panda Joins BJP ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Assam

NEW DELHI/GUWAHATI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National VP in Charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has joined BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in this North Eastern States, where Former Chief Minister and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal led the Yatra launched by the Party.

“With the iconic statue of Assam legend Bir Lachit Borphukan in the backdrop, on the majestic Brahmaputra river, i joined the #JanAshirwadYatra to felicitate my friend@sarbanandsonwal on his induction to the Modi cabinet & to seek the public’s blessings for his crucial work ahead,” BJP National VP Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay.

As the BJP had earlier announced the new Ministers would undertake a ‘Yatra’ to reach out to the public, Baijayant Panda as State In Charge joined the Yatra along with Union Minister Sonowal and others.

In Assam, the processions will cover the Lok Sabha constituencies mostly in Upper Assam and Central Assam besides Guwahati.

The March will cover 375.5 km and will pass through Morigaon, Kaliabar, Nagaon, Jorhat, and Sivasagar. It will end on August 23 in Dibrugarh. Union Minister of State Rameswar Teli, who also arrived at Guwahati with Sonowal on Saturday,  will also participate in the procession.
