NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National VP In Charge of Assam and Delhi and former 4th times MP, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda on Thursday deeply condole the death of Party’s Manipur unit President Prof S Tikendra Singh. He was 69. He had tested positive for the virus on April 27.
“Deeply saddened & pained at the untimely passing of @BJP4ManipurPresident Prof. S. Tikendra Singh Ji. I have fond memories of working with him for several months last year on party matters, vote of confidence & by elections. My deepest condolences to the family. Om Shanti,”Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay. Before taking charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant Panda had earlier looking into Manipur affairs on behalf of BJP.
The senior BJP leader had contracted Coronavirus few days back and was under treatment at Shija hospital in Imphal. A Retired Professor, who have worked tirelessly with selfless devotion towards the ideology of BJP, was loved by one and all in Manipur, Biren Singh wrote on his official Facebook account. Singh was appointed as president of the BJP Manipur unit in June 2020.
