Baijayant Panda attends BJP National Office Bearers Meet in New Delhi

BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: BJP National Vice-President In Charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda was Sunday joined Party’s National Chief JP Nadda and General secretary(Organisation) BL Santosh to attend the National Office Bearers meet that was addressed  by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting held at NMDC Convention Hall, where Panda briefed party’s top brasses about political developments in Assam.  

“BJP – the choice of #NewIndia! Attended @BJP4India’s National Office Bearers, State Incharges & Co-Incharges, State Presidents & Gen. Secretaries (Org) meeting addressed by PM@narendramodiJi & BJP President @JPNadda Ji. It was insightful to listen to both our esteemed leaders,” Baijayant Panda tweeted @PandaJay.

The meeting comes ahead of the assembly elections in a clutch of states including West Bengal and Assam and amid the ongoing agitation by a section of farmers demanding a repeal of the farm laws.

“The daylong meeting will see office bearers discuss issues pertaining to the farm laws, Aatmanirbhar Bharat and a resolution will be passed at the end of the day. The party will also announce the future programmes that will be undertaken,” said party general secretary Arun Singh. Over 150 delegates are present for the meeting, which includes state unit presidents and general secretaries apart from the national office bearers.

Earlier, a party functionary had said that the PM himself being present for the meeting is an indication of how seriously the BJP takes the organisational issues and the expansion and strengthening of the party cadre.
