BHUBANESWAR: After Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the top brasses of BJP seems continuing their faith on two other leaders from Odisha, including Baijayant’Jay’Panda , the re-elected National Vice-President with 4th times representation in 2 Houses of Parliament and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha MP and former IAS officer, Aparajita Sarangi.
With BJP National Chief JP Nadda announced his new team that having 4 faces from Odisha, including Panda as VP, MP Sarangi as National Spokesperson along with Dr Sambit Patra while Mayurbhanj MP, Biseswar Tudu as National Secretary. Earlier, Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari was alone from Odisha was National secretary but Pujari was dropped this time and Tudu taken in the new team.
The women face of BJP in Odisha, former IAS officer, Sarangi, will now defend the Saffron establishments in National media. Sarangi, a people friendly bureaucrat turned MP , has been outstanding since her election to Lok Sabha in May last year and very active in both Parliament and in her Lok Sabha Constituency. “ MP Aparajita Sarangi has chances to become likes of Sushama Swaraj for BJP if she works like in this way as she has been doing since her election,” added a RSS Veteran.
“While Baijayant Panda, has been constantly providing intellectual inputs to both Government and Party and travelling extensively for party’s organisational work, that impressed JP Nadda to retain him in the new team,” sources in BJP said adding Panda will became longest serving National VP from Odisha origin after former Union Minister and Sundargarh MP Jual Oram, who had earlier served as National VP.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan too took to twitter and thanked PM Narendra Modi and JP Nadda for showing trust in four leaders from Odisha.
