BHUBANESWAR:At the recently concluded 18th Annual Convocation of NIT Rourkela, Sri Baibhav Karan was awarded the ‘Dr Bansidhar Panda Gold Medal (Best Graduate of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering)’ instituted by IMFA in memory of its Founder. Dr Panda had also chaired the Board of Governors of NIT Rourkela.
Subhrakant Panda, Managing Director, conveyed heartiest congratulations to Mr Karan on behalf of the entire IMFA family.
In November 2019, India’s leading Ferro Alloys maker, Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) had signed an MoU with NIT Rourkela to institute a Gold Medal in the memory of its founder Dr Bansidhar Panda, who passed away in 2018.
