BHUBANESWAR:  Badagada P.S. Case No.496, Dt. 02.09.2025, U/S- 296(a)/118(1)/351(3)/109(1)/3(5) BNS r/w 25(1)(a) Arms Act, now turned to U/S 296(a)/118(1)/351(3)/109(1)/249(b)/ 61(2)/3(5) BNS r/w 25(1)(a) Arms Act. Near the chamber of the complainant, under Badagada PS, Bhubaneswar UPD.

On 02.09.2025 , the above case was registered and investigation was initiated based on the written report of the complainant Aayashreshtha Parija.

It is worth noting that on 31.08.2025 at around 11:00 PM , while the complainant was walking towards his room , he saw some people standing blocking the road. When he asked them to move aside , the accused abused him in obscene language and attacked him with bricks and threatened to kill him. After some time, they again came to the complainant’s room with deadly weapons like iron swords and tried to attack him with intent to kill. The complainant managed to escape from there and save his life.

The investigation revealed that the accused had attempted to carry out a serious attack by using deadly weapons by holding an illegal assembly and intimidating the complainant , thereby creating terror in the area. The accused were arrested on the basis of credible information and their involvement was proved during interrogation.

A check of the previous criminal records of the accused revealed that accused Sabhish Nayak was involved in one case at the Capital Police Station and accused Aditya was involved in two cases at the Kahuralakshmi Sagar Police Station.

As the crime against the accused has been clarified, they have been produced in court today as per the law. Further investigation into the case is currently underway while efforts are on to arrest other accomplices involved in the crime.
