BHUBANESWAR: Badagad PS Case No-582, dtd.18.10.2023, U/s-397/394/307/34 IPC & rw Sec25/27 Arms Act.PO: Alti Green showroom at Puri bypass road, near NH-316, PS- Badagada, Bhubaneswar UPD.
Brief of the Case:
On the report of Complt. Prakash Pati (38), working as area officer at a private Security Organisation at Bhubaneswar reported in writing to the effect that, on the night of 17.10.2023 at about 12.00 midnight while one of his companies security personnel namely Gouranga Das was performing duty at Alti Green showroom at Puri bypass road at NH-316, three boys assaulted him brutally.
First they requested him for some water and then his mobile phone, but he denied to provide them his mobile phone. In return suddenly they assaulted to security personnel Gouranga by means of sword as a result he sustained injuries on his palm, hand, back, head. Immediately they shifted him to hospital for his treatment.
During investigation today i.e. 09.12.2023 at early morning information was received that one of the accused Rahul Kumar Sahoo @ Neula was roaming at Badagada canal road. Immediately staffs of Badagada PS along with Special Squad rushed towards the spot and apprehended him at canal road with one sword. He’ll be forwarded to the court today. He is also involved in Badagada, Mancheswar and Saheednagar PS Cases in Bhubaneswar UPD.
As the accused involved in various crimes repeatedly, he will be booked under 110 CrPC.Further investigation is going on.
