BHUBANESWAR: BJD Lok Sabha candidate for Sambalpur Parliamentary seat, Pranab Prakash Das alias Babby Das on Sunday said, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has repeatedly opposed the Puri Parikrama project and has been campaigning against it every day.
The BJD Organisational general secretary Das said, Pradhan thinks there is no need for Puri Parikrama project. Then mention it in your party’s election manifesto and tell lakhs of devotees of Lord Srijagannath to stop the Puri Parikrama project.
Old shoe shops, hotels, lodges will stand again in that place. Mention in your party’s election manifesto that it will also destroy the work done for the benefit of lakhs of devotees.
Similarly, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan is also opposing the beautification of Ma’am Samlei temple. Then will you have the courage to tell Ma Samlai’s millions of devotees by mentioning in the second edition that Ma Samlai’s temple will stop beautification?
There is no doubt that there is much jealousy and anger in the mind of Shri Pradhan regarding the beautification and circumambulation project of these two spiritual places.
‘If you have the guts, Mr. Pradhan, stop these two activities and mention them in the election manifesto. Later, he would never forget the response the people of Odisha would give him, Das said.
