RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA: Aul MLA and former Minister Pratap Keshari Deb has extended help of hand to the family members of Gangadhar Biswal, a migrant worker from Bajapur village of Katanabania Panchayat of Rajkanika block under Aul Assembly segment in Kendrapara in Odisha, who few days back, fearing economic burden and uncertainty over livelihood support, in the wake of COVID-19 lockdown and had hanged himself in Haryana.Sources said MLA Deb met the family members and handover a cash of Rs 10,000 and also assured all possible Government help the family members of Biswal.
Biswal, a resident of Rajkanika of Odisha’s coastal district of Kendrapara, had committed suicide by hanging himself in Haryana, where he worked a construction firm. Biswal was working with a construction firm at Yamuna Vihar in Haryana from few years. Due to lockdown, he was unable to return home.
