BHUBANESWAR:On the call of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the goal of self-reliant India through Swadeshi concept has now become a movement. To encourage the adoption of Indian-made products instead of foreign ones, various programs are being organized from September 25, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, to December 25, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This can be called the country’s second economic freedom struggle movement. Along with the Bharatiya Janata Party, many voluntary organizations of the country have joined this campaign. State President Shri Manmohan Samal has said that the workers should join this program and encourage the people to adopt indigenous products.
Attending the review meeting of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp campaign held at the state office, Shri Samal said that the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign is a promise for the entire society and the nation. Everyone’s participation in this program is very important. The party is organizing many programs and campaigns to make the people aware of this issue.
In this context, it has been decided to organize women, youth, business and civil society conferences in the assembly, Swadeshi fairs, Swadeshi promises in schools and colleges, Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp chariots and padayatras and to conduct door-to-door Swadeshi contacts campaigns.
In the review meeting, Shri Samal called upon the workers to make this campaign a success to achieve the goal of 2047 Developed India.
On this occasion, State In-charge Vijayapal Singh Tomar, Minister Gokulananda Mallick, State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty, Bishnu Das, Campaign Coordinator and State General Secretary Sharda Shatapathy, Co-Coordinator and MP Ananta Nayak, State General Secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, State Executive Member Murali Krishna Dashari, National Women’s Morcha Social Media Coordinator Sujata Padhi and all state and district officials were present.
