GUWAHATI/BHUBANESWAR: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday greeted Party’s National VP in charge of the State and as well as Delhi, Baijayant Jay Panda on his birth day. The Chief Minister Sarma telephoned BJP National VP Jay Panda to wish him happy birth day.

Your guidance is crucial for the expansion of the party.May Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev bless you with good health and a long life,” the CM said in another tweet.
Meanwhile, Happy birth day greetings and best wishes poured in for BJP National VP in and also Chairman of high level expert committee on NCC reforms , Jay Panda, who turned 58. Born on January 12, 1964 , Jay Panda was a Member of Parliament in the 15th and 16th Lok Sabha from Kendrapara from 2009 to 2019. He was also a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha for two terms from 2000 to 2009.
