BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday Ashok Kumar Nayak, Forester, Gulumi Section under Muribahal Range, in Bolangir was nabbed by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe of Rs.10,000/- from a farmer to give permission for transportation of logs of one Teak and one Sal Tree cut few days back from his own land.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.01 dt.05.01.2026 U/s.7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered and under investigation.
