BHUBANESWAR: On Wednesday, Ashim Nayak, Geologist, Ground Water Develepment Department Bolangir has been nabbed by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.40,000/-from a Consultant under Rooftop Water Harvesting Scheme, for facilitating release of consultancy fee. Later,Rs 1.68 lakh found during house search.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No. 20/2024 U/s 7 P. C.(Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress.
