BHUBANESWAR: The Director of Vigilance said on Friday that it has apprehended Sashirekha Singh, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO), Asarada GP of Dhenkanal while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.8,000/- from a complaint to release the balance amount in his favour related to a work done under MGNREGS .
In this connection Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No 47 dt. 17-12-2021 U/s 7 P.C.(Amendment) Act 2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress , it said.
