Around 70 corporate leaders attended an event organised by SOA at Bengaluru

BHUBANESWAR: Around 70 corporate leaders attended an event organised by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) at Bengaluru on Saturday which aimed at fostering leadership and collaboration across disciplines.

Titled ‘Allyship++’, the event was addressed by several prominent speakers and personalities including Olympian Anju Bobby George, the first Indian to win a world championship medal in athletics.

George, who joined the program virtually, spoke on the theme ‘Leadership in Sports’ inspiring the audience with her experience and insight.

SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, who delivered the inaugural address, highlighted the importance of leadership. Dr. Raj Kumar Hota, SOA’s Dean (Corporate Relations and Placement), was the convenor of the event.

A panel discussion was held which was moderated by Mr. Rajeev Kumar Singh, Chief Strategist, Open Link Foundation. The discussion centred around current issues and future trends in leadership and corporate relations.

The panelists included Mr. P.B. Kotur, Global Head, Engineering Academy of L and T Technology Services,  Ms. C. Aparna,  CHRO, Torry Harris Integration Solutions, Mr. Baliram Mutagekar, Vice President, BNY Mellon and Dr. S.J. Naganagouda, Chief People Officer, Tally Solutions Private Ltd. Leaders from Microsoft, Dell, Zscalar and several other companies.
