BHUBANESWAR: In view of the on-going controversy arising out of the Arachana Nag Chand and her Husband Jagabandhu Chand’s honeytrap scandal, many innocent people have been dragged into controversy, because they have a photo with the accused couple.
As they were in public life, many people pose for photograph with them but they don’t know, this could have been a big trouble for them when someone misused it for their personal gains.
This came to light when DRM Waltair Division DRM Anup Satpathy’s photo with them gone viral in social media and well as other mainstream media in Odisha, only fault of Satpathy , one of the best Officers of Indian Railways and leading also one of the most crucial Railway Division like Waltair Division, was, he agreed for a photograph with them during a social gathering 6 months back.
Sources said, Satpathy, who hails from Odisha, since his College Days, has been showing outstanding leadership and a result of which, he is now heading an important profit making Railway Division in India. Satpathy’s only fault was that he agreed for a photograph. Satpathy , sources said, no way related to this controversy in connection to Arachana-Jagabandhu’s honeytrap. The police even not found any single evidence of audio or video clips of any type of talking or meeting with the accused, which strongly vindicates, Satpathy was unnecessarily dragged into the controversy and his photos were shared in social media sites promoting mainstream media to carry news on it.
Opposition BJP and Congress had alleged Arachana’s role in Railway Tender works. Now, a thorough investigation discloses that Anup satpathy who is a highly popular, competent, dynamic and straight forward officer was not related to this criminal couple in any way other than allowing them to click a pic with himself when they insisted and met him purportedly to help him getting a suitable farm land. The husband put this pic in his FB without the consent of Mr Satpathy to derive mileage out of his good name.
Mr Satpathy is one of the finest bureaucrats in Railways with a large fan following , many awards to his credit, unmatched reputation etc and is always accessible to people. The thugs must have tried to take advantage of that but could not succeed as there was no more interaction and the officer has no such antecedents of doing wrong.
