PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Today’s scenes from Chandanpur to Puri’s Grand Road speak a lot about Aparajita’s approach and even though, restrictions imposed on her rally, she reached the pilgrimage city and offered prayers with tears in eyes.
Like Mamata Didi in Bengal, in Odisha, BJP’s Bhubaneswar MP, and National Spokesperson, Aparjita Sarangi, an IAS officer turned women leader, perhaps drawing most attention, which once late State Chief Minister Nandini Satpathy used to get during her prime time.
Look at Aparajita Sarangi’s aggressive and timely attack on Naveen Patnaik led Government on various issues at a time, when most powerful BJP leaders like Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaishnaw failed to do and keeping them refrain from Naveen bashing.
“No permission required for darshan of Mahaprabhu Jagannath. If Odisha govt is on right path, why is it so afraid? I’ve only spoken about security of Srimandir. This is not a party programme, workers of all parties have assembled,” said BJP Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi during Puri visit.

What happened that the local MP Pinaki Mishra finally had to seek support from Puri Gajapati? I don’t want to comment anything on Gajapati’s statements. We support development and beautification but we need to know ASI’s opinion in this regard: MP Aparajita Sarangi on Parikrama Project, the BJP National Spokesperson, Sarangi said.
Earlier on March 31, Sarangi had raised the topic of Puri Srimandir Heritage Corridor Project in the Lok Sabha and alleged that the construction works are being carried out illegally with violation of norms.
