BHUBANESWAR: After careful consideration of the representation dated 19.-5-2025, of Abhay, Government have been pleased to accept the resignation of Abhay , IPS retired , Chairman , Odisha Staff Selection Commission with immediate effect, GAPG Department of Odisha said on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Sudhakar Burgi, IAS retired , Member SSC, is allowed to act as Chairman in addition to his own duties until further order.
Abhya was considered close to Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government earlier and was given post-retirement benefit soon after he left Police Headquarters as DGP Odisha. He was also in good book of fugitive BJD leader and Ex IAS officer VK Pandian.
