BHUBANESWAR:Today i.e. on 28.01.2026, Sri Ananta Kumar Sahoo, Former Junior Engineer (JE), Electrical Section No.III, NESCO, Keonjhar (Disengaged from service) who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d)/7 PC Act, 1988 for demanding and taking bribe Rs.6,000/- from a consumer for providing electricity connection to his newly constructed house, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Keonjhar and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 1 year and fine.
