An induction program for the first year students of BBA and Integrated MBA was held at the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), faculty of management sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), on Monday where industry leaders and academicians spoke to the freshers about the scope of their future career

BHUBANESWAR:  An induction program for the first year students of BBA and Integrated MBA was held at the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), faculty of management sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), on Monday where industry leaders and academicians spoke to the freshers about the scope of their future career.

Dr. Sanjeev Mohapatra, Director of Terra-Block Machinery Private Ltd, who graced the program as guest of honour, encouraged the students to become entrepreneurs while highlighting the importance of start-ups and innovation. He urged the freshers to set clear objectives for themselves after preparing a road map for success.

Prof. Manjula Das, Controller of Examination, Prof. Anup Kumar Samantaray, Dean of IBCS, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), Prof. Ayaskanta Mohanty, Academic Coordinator, BBA Program, Dr. Saraju Prasad, Academic Coordinator, I-MBA Program were among the other speakers.

Prof. Manjula Das chronicled SOA’s remarkable achievements across disciplines while emphasizing on commitment to excellence to reach higher goals. Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das spoke about decision making and dreaming big while sharing strategies for making informed choices. Prof. Mohanty focused on time management, communication skills and critical thinking describing them as essential components for achieving success.
