CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah flanked by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday paid a visit to Netaji’s birth place at Cuttack Odia Bazar and offered their floral tributes.

‘Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is synonymous with courage and bravery. It is a great privilege to visit Janakinath Bhawan, Netaji’s birthplace in Cuttack and pay tributes to him.The entire nation will always remain indebted to his monumental contribution to our freedom struggle, Amit Shah said.

‘It is always special to be in Odisha but this time people with Tiranga in their hands made it even more memorable. I bow to the people of Cuttack for their unparalleled love and affection,’ Shah said in a tweet.

“Along with Aadarniya HM Shri @AmitShah paid tribute to a great son of the soil Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Janakinath Bhawan in Cuttack, his birthplace.  Janakinath Bhawan is a sacred pilgrimage for every Indian, especially for admirers of Netaji.I am fortunate and blessed to once again visit Janakinath Bhawan, especially today when we are commemorating the anniversary of Quit India Movement. The nation will always remain indebted to those who sacrificed their everything for our freedom, especially Netaji,” Union  Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in a tweet.
