BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched the ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ scheme in the Balasore and Bolangir districts through video conferencing from Bhubaneswar. Under this Yojana, Rs 50 lakh will be given to each panchayat.
With this, 8 constituencies – Remuna, Bhograi, Jaleswar, Balasore, Simulia, Basta, Soro and Nilagiri of Balasore district have received Rs 178 crore for 4,465 projects in 356 gram panchayats of 12 blocks.
Similarly, Rs 158.50 crores have been sanctioned for 5 constituencies Bolangir, Titilagarh, Patnagarh, Kantabanji and Loisinga of Bolangir district for 3911 projects will be done in 317 gram panchayats of 14 blocks.
