AM/NS India-Odisha facility distributes hygienic products and Grocery Kits

BHUBANESWAR/PARADIP: As a responsible corporate, AM/NS India, Odisha Facility is closely working with the communities at Paradip and Dabuna in Keonjhar to combat the widespread outbreak of COVID 19.

The company distributed ration kits, hygienic products such as sanitiser, soap to the patients, admitted in Biju Memorial Hospital at Paradip and to the workers from the other states, who are stuck at Paradeep due to countrywide lockdown.

Dr. Kahnu Charan Dhir, ADM, Paradip  gave an awareness speech on ‘Social Distancing’ while distributing the hygienic products and grocery kits at the public forum. Sri P.K Mohanty, Head-HR, AM/NS India, D C Singh, Chief Security AM/NS India,  Basant Kumar Biswal, Chairman, Paradeep Muncipality and Dilip Mohanty, Executive Officer, Paradip were present during the distribution hygienic products and grocery kits.

P K Mohanty, Head- HR, AM/NS India said: “To help contain spread of Covid-19, the CSR wing of AM/NS India is working round the clock. We uphold our CSR responsibility with true spirit”.At Dabuna, the company distributed ration kits, sanitizers, soaps at CHC, Kumarjoda and Kalimati PHC.

AM/NS India [A joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel] and HMEL [ A partnership between Hindustan Petroleum and Mittal Energy Investments] had committed equally to a total of Rs 100 crore to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM-CARES] for the ongoing relief efforts countrywide.
