BHUBANESWAR: The Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government in Odisha was on Sunday night received a major setback in its fight against COVID-19 with reports of fresh 16 positive cases taking the total figure to 39, sources said.
“The figure was 21 on Saturday and increased to 23 on Sunday afternoon but later at night, it’s all time high at 39,” sources said. Fresh positive cases were from State Capital of Bhubaneswar.
With the entire State was observing the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to switch off lights at home from 9 pm to 9.09 pm for 9 minutes, reports from Health and Family Welfare Department has sent a shockwave in State Capital, which has been under complete shutdown since past couple of days.
