BHUBANESWAR: After the arrest of Shankar Prusty, the main accused in the case of Police Sub-Inspector examination scam, the Biju Janata Dal has reacted very slowly. A few days ago, another criminal was caught from the farmhouse of a BJD leader. Today, Shankar said that a deal of Rs 1000 crore was done during the previous government. He did not take anyone’s name, he said that it was only the previous government.
Shankar is a resident of Naveen Patnaik’s constituency Hinjilikatu. He was an active member of the Biju Janata Dal. People of the Biju Janata Dal say that he had a very good relationship with Pandian. He started as a simple worker and did various government work and conducted examinations.
After the change of government in 2024, he immediately approached the BJP leaders, took pictures and left everything in the market. The aim was to show people that even if the government changes, he can work as before.
