BARGARH: AEM English Medium School, with the support of Fighters Group Bargarh, organized the National Cancer Awareness Day.On this occasion a rally and street play to raise awareness about cancer. The event was attended by prominent personalities, including MLA Bargarh, Debesh Acharya, CDMO Bargarh, Principal Parvati Giri Women’s College, and Prasanna Mishra,President of the Fighters group.
Shri Debesh Acharya, MLA Bargarh, inaugurated the rally, which marked the occasion of the National Cancer Awareness Day. The event aimed to educate the public about the prevention, early detection, and treatment options for cancer.
The rally, accompanied by a vibrant street play, attracted a large number of participants and spectators. Students from AEM English Medium School and members of the Fighters Group actively participated in spreading awareness about cancer and its impact on society.
The event emphasized the importance of regular screenings, adopting a healthy lifestyle, and seeking timely medical intervention for better cancer outcomes. Various informative pamphlets and brochures were distributed among the attendees to further educate them about the disease.
MLA Debesh Acharya highlighted the significance of such initiatives and appreciated the efforts of AEM English Medium School and Fighters Group for organizing the event. He urged everyone to join hands in raising awareness about cancer, ensuring early detection, supporting cancer patients, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
CDMO Bargarh, the Principal of Parvati Giri Women’s College, and the President of the Fighter Group also addressed the audience, emphasizing the need to prioritize cancer awareness and prevention in the community.
