TALCHER/KANIHA: A N Verma, Executive Director,NTPC Limited today visited NTPC Talcher Kaniha. During his visit , he inaugurated advanced automated cell count equipment installed at pathological dept of NTPC Kaniha hospital.The newly added equipment will cater better medical pathological tests in day to day operation of the hospital.
On the occasion, he also made a visit to newly operated tobacco de-addiction centre and presented a gift to one of the local residents who quit smoking as an encouragement. Later he had an interaction with the doctors and hospital staff and saw a presentation on hospital activities by R K Misra ,CMO ,NTPC Kaniha hospital.
Verma addressing the gathering shared some of the new initiatives ie NTPC employees health mapping which will record the health records of employees for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Sebastian Jospesh ,General Manager (HR) ,ER II ,senior officials of Talcher Kaniha were present during the visit.
