CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:The Adhyapika Niharika Das Smruti Nyasa has announced that this year’s Best Proof-reader Award in the Odia will be jointly conferred on Mr. Pravat Ranjan Beura of Bhubaneswar and Mr. Biranchi Narayan Mishra of Rourkela.
In a press release issued here yesterday, the convener of the Nyasa, Mr. Deepak Kumar Mahanta stated that the award will be presented at a simple ceremony to be held on 14th evening in the local Gandhi Bhawan. Former Principal of Lakshminarayan Sahu Mahavidyalaya, Dr. Kamal Prasad Mohanty will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while renowned litterateur Mr. Baishnab Charan Mohanty will attend as the chief speaker.
It is worth mentioning that with the aim of highlighting the importance of proof-reading before the society and encouraging the proof-readers, the Adhyapika Niharika Das Smruti Nyasa has been honouring the best proof-reader in Odia with a cash prize every year since 2024.
