BALASORE/ BHUBANESWAR: Adhoc Fast Track Special Court under POCSO Act, Mayurbhanj gave a conviction judgement in Jamda PS case No. 4/25 dtd 13/1/25 u/s 137(2)/115(2)/351(2) BNS r/w Sec.6 POCSO Act in less than 4 months since registration of the case.
The accused is sentenced to undergo 20 Yrs rigorous imprisonment. The case pertains to sexual assault of a 7 year old boy by the accused aged about 25 yrs.
The court has also recommended payment of Rs.1,00,000/- victim compensation.
